Professional Experience

She served as Head of the Intellectual Property Department in a local Firm for 6 consecutive years. In this position, she was in charge of prosecution and litigation proceedings related to trademarks, patents, copyrights, and other intellectual property matters.
Additionally, she has more than 12 years of experience practicing Intellectual Property Law and Regulatory Law. Her professional career in the Intellectual Property area allows her to manage multinational corporations' portfolios in Panama, participate and create professional networks in events held by the Inter-American Intellectual Property Association (ASIPI) and the International Trademark Association (INTA) for the pastnine years.

Education:

Mrs. Miranda de Fischer holds a degree in Law and Political Science from the
University of Panama, graduated with distinction.

She also holds a Master’s Degree in Private Law, major in Commercial Law, from the
University of Panama.

She has taken course at WIPO Regional Workshop on Patent System.
